Our Support Staff

Debbie Zepf, R.N.

Debbie has extensive experience with various aspects of clinical care including hospital based care, specialty practices, home health, and clinical research. Her responsibilities include evaluation of all new patients; pre and post operative patient education, testing and follow-up; and outpatient clinical care and management.

Jennifer Garrett, PA-C

Jen Garrett graduated from Manchester College with her BS in Biology/Chemistry. She then received her BS in Physician Assistant Studies from Butler University and MPAS (Master in Physician Assistant Studies) from University of Nebraska. She has experience in pediatric stem cell transplantation (Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis) and pediatric hematology/oncology (Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center). She has been employed at University Internal Medicine Associates in the Division of Digestive Diseases since January 2007. Her main responsibilities include direct patient care in support of Drs. Chauhan and Schmulewitz and coordination of research studies.

M. Scott Fulp

Scott has been an administrative assistant in the Surgical Oncology Division since 2002. His previous focus was strictly to support Dr. Jeffrey Sussman’s oncology practice. He is now the main administrative support for the physicians of the Surgery Division of the Pancreatic Disease Center. He provides administrative support in all aspects of Dr. Ahmad’s practice as well.
