Dr. Ahmad is an Associate Professor of Surgery within the Division of Surgical Oncology, Department of Surgery at UC. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Duke University and attended medical school at the University of Maryland. He completed his surgical residency at Pennsylvania Hospital with concomitant research training at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Ahmad received his fellowship training in surgical oncology at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Ahmad has particular clinical expertise in pancreatic and hepatobiliary surgery. His research interests include angiogenesis, tumor microenvironment, and anti-angiogenesis therapy.
Jeffrey J. Sussman, M.D.
Associate Professor of Surgery
Chief, Division of Surgical Oncology
Dr. Sussman is an Associate Professor of Surgery and Chief of the Division of Surgical Oncology, Department of Surgery at UC. He obtained his undergraduate degree at University of California, Riverside and attended medical school at UCLA School of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at the University of Michigan, where he also completed fellowships in Surgical Critical Care and Oncology Research. Dr. Sussman received his Surgical Oncology Fellowship training at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Sussman has particular clinical expertise in melanoma, sarcoma, endocrine tumors, and gastrointestinal/pancreatico-hepatobiliary malignancies
